Erecting A Building[]
To erect a building simply hover over a empty square in your city and click, on the next window select the "Erect" button under whichever building you wish to erect. The first quests cover this, I'd recommend doing them if you actually read this.
You can speed up a building by clicking the green circle next to the corresponding construction progress.
